I have enjoyed a career as an Interior Decorator for over 32 years, operating Welcome Home Furniture on the corner of Burwood Road and Power Street, Hawthorn, specialising in domestic and commercial decorating.

When advising on the presentation of the home or office, I take into consideration not only the room that you are standing in, but the rooms surrounding that room.

The next consideration is the light from outside the premises, the garden, the view out of the windows, access to the view of the sky, where the sun rises and sets.

All of these factors give a space its speciality.

I now call myself a Space Designer because all of these factors affect the space we are in, not just the interior spaces.
